I noticed the other day that when I tried to go up an incline with my 04 Super Z that it started to shudder and did not want to move. Also when I try to go full speed it does the same thing. It seems like a belt may be slipping. Is there any way to check this out?

Sounds like it is time for a hydro belt.
There is not an adjustment, it is a fixed anchor point on the tension spring.
Talk to your dealer, get a belt and you will be good.

Had the same thing happen to mine one time. Solved the problem with a new belt in about 5 mins. Yoiu'll be happy to hear that you don't need any tools to change either the deck belt or the hydro belt on a Super Z.
