I want to take on a few accounts, do some lawn care and maybe some small landscaping. I don't even really care about having a "company" name just my number and my name, eventually if things work out i will have a company name but for now i just want a few accounts. How should I go about advertising this?

Just kidding. But if you're not going to have a name, you really can't advertise. Advertising is about name recognition, and if you don't have a name, what's there to recognize? I would suggest just knocking on a few doors and offering to mow their lawn. Why won't you have a"business" name? It would sure make a business a lot easier to start.

Talk to all your friends, and get some of their lawns. I don't know about the laws in your state, but in mine you can only make a certain amount before you are required to have a business license(which is very east to get). It sounds like you just want to try the business out, so I'd try and get my friends' or relatives' lawns and see how you like it. you can't really advertise all out unless you are serious about the busniess.
