Propane powered engines

  1. I have found this site that offers conversions for generator applications, would probably be able to make it work for mowers. If I run out of projects next winter I may give it a try.

I work in a small engine shop in SC and last year a man wanted us to convert his gas generator to propane. We said forget it when we learned that we could lose our business license be fined $2500 and could even do jail time. The reason for all that is one the EPA says that if it is done wrong it will cause more pollution than if it stayed on gas and two there have been people blown up by bad convertions. NO repair shop will do it for you, if you a propane unit you will have to buy one or do the convertion your self. I understand that the EPA is trying to outlaw the sell on the kits so you act soon.
