Got a new Proslide XT used it today for the first time and the dame thing broke . The Actuator spring broke in two pieces. Anyone have this problem and what causes this ??? Should I take it back and go with wheels ????

I used proslides when they first came out. They stand behind there product. I had a spring break a year past warranty and called them to find out were to get a replacement and they sent me new parts without charging.

Actually, you don't even need the Actuator. It will be easier to use the slide without it.

It CAN be a bit more dangerous tho, the slide will move out from underneath you on wet or downhill surfaces. Be careful if you remove it.

The old Proslides had no actuator.

It works better without, because you can do a turn with only one foot on the slide, and the slide moves backwards that way on the turn. Hard to explain, but it's a useful technique for quite a few turns.
