Has anyone used a pair of "long reach pruners"? They appear to be a good idea... but like alot of tools are homeowner gimmicks. Any feedback would be welcomed.
I bought the Corona brand loppers with the telescoping handles. They work well, its tough sometimes when working in tight areas it is difficult to spread the handles wide enough for some limbs .
I bought a pair of ARS long reach pruners about 10 years ago from AM Leonard. You are not going to cut 1/2 stuff with them, but they will save you an enormous amount of time. Go ahead and buy them and get the good ones so they will be around a while.

Thanks for the info. Ive seen the ARS ones available thru AM Leonard. One of my local suppliers is carrying a brand called Barnel. I'm not familiar w/ them , but they are made in USA. Anyone have experience with them?
