Is there a good way to prune a large amount of bushes? Are there any gas powered tools that do a good job?

I don't know specifically what the name of the bushes are, they are the standard types of bushes planted around large complexes here in Minnesota.

Echo, Stihl, etc., all make single and double edged hedge clippers. There are also pole-type, articulating types that can make your job much easier as well. I suggest you look at the gas-powered type over an electric model which would require you to have long extension cords with you.
