Anybody know how to prune as scotch broom? I have a job with 2-3ft tall plants with snow damage to about half of them. They are around a central air unit and are interfering with it.

Is the scotch broom a decorative plant? Around here scotch broom is a noxious weed shrub that grows in freeway medians.

Yeah, they actually planted it. It looks totally unruly. Can it be cut down and rejuvinated?

As far as I know you can cut it back. If it is interfering with the heat pump you otta cut it back anyway and find out.

Scotch broom looks cool when it is kept in line.

You can cut them back pretty good. I have cut them to the ground before and they came back.
