I don't know the exact figures of course. But the the turfmaster definitely has more power and grunt as you've called it based on its ability to take on thick wet leaves were the timemaster immediately choked and died when I've tried to do this. I'll see how it handles today as rain
Last nite has knocked a million more down I'm sure.

From now on I will be posting all comparisons between the t30 and turfmaster in this thread: Toro TimeMaster 30 vs Exmark Commercial 30 vs Toro Commercial 30 vs yBravo 25. As that's why that thread was started.

As I've posted elsewhere, be sure to verify your engine's rpm setting. Mine was down ~400rpm. That makes a noticeable difference.

They set the Roma at 3400 when I bought the timemaster in June. I don't want to set it higher than advised as I already am cautious about the life span of the Briggs mower with built in throttle.

I understand your caution, as another LCO is on his second Timemaster (dealer lemon-traded the first) and this one has a warranty engine on it. I can't really blame the engine, as the guy probably never changed the oil or even checked it. For sure, he doesn't sharpen blades.

The B&S site shows a dyno chart to 3600rpm, so that's where I've set mine. And, my new snowblower's B&S was set there from the factory. So long as they blow under warranty, we're good.

Got my mower back today and noticed only one wheel would spin. The mechanic said the transmission has a differential causing this.He also said its a bad design and that they are supposed to redesign the whole thing.

really? I didn't realize it did that. I have heard all these comments about redesign, the big question is WHEN will the new design come out? I am wanting to buy a few of these mowers but will not buy until these bugs are fixed. any word on that? maybe February/March hopefully?

Um one wheel as in just the right or left...? Or a true Open differential...?

    How did it operate before...?

Mine the right side seems to spin the most, will have to mess with it tomorrow. . The mechanic sounded pretty sure that it will fail again. Getting tired of the downtime and have lost work because of it. They also cleaned the carb because it was flooding and the font two engine mount bolts were gone. Maybe I got a lemon.
