Pulled the trigger/ New Exmark 30 for me...

    Turns out its not the trany. Gears on the left wheel are stripped out. My warranty expires next week.

    Are the gears metal or plastic on the wheel?

    I would assume they are metal, probably look like a small flywheel that sites inside the wheel. You should be able to replace just the gear without having to replace the whole wheel itself

    does anybody know if any new blade options are coming out this season? I would love to see gator make a mulch blade for this machine

    Ditto, vegandude! I would like to know about Gators or any other blades that the folks consider best for pure mulching with this machine. Thanks in advance for opinions!

    They come standard with a gator style mulching blade already.....

    Yes this is true but not to the point of what can be ground up with say my Q32 or a larger higher HP WB running OREGONĀ® G6/G5 GATORS. This combo can grind up the dry dormant debris in early spring mows and aeration plug shredding as a prep step in Spring over seeding.

    They're not the same as Oregon's Gator blades. There's a huge difference in how the serrations are made/designed in the sail.
