I just purchased a used sprayer setup. It has a 100 gallon tank and a 5 or 6 hp Wisconsin/Robin engine (both newer) It currently has a belt driven piston pump which is very LOUD I would like to get rid of it and install a direct drive pump. Just wondering what king of pump to buy? And if I should be cautious of anything prior to installation?

If you are planning to use any wettable powders I would recommend using a diaphragm pump. One of the more popular pumps is the Hypro D30 pump with gearbox drive to engine which is much quieter than the belt drive.

I agree with the hypro D30
    very reliable
    very low maintenance
