    Good Morning Men

I need to buy a chainsaw today. I've been using an old Poulan and it finally died.

I dont do tons of trees but would like something thats going to be a good, powerful, reliable saw. Tomorrow I'm doing a job on a commercial account - they want all the branches of their 30 pine trees to be cut off up to five feet. I dont want to be worrying about my saw while I'm doing it.

I went in to the dealer and he suggested the Echo CS-370 for $259.99. I dont know much about saws and did a search on here only to find little info on this saw.

I've got to get one today and just wanted to hear any thoughs on this model.

    Thanks in advance

I don't know about the CS-370, but, I do have a CS-341. It's lightweight, has plenty of power to run either a 14" or 16" bar. The only knock on the saw is that you have to make sure that the chain is tighter than normal on the bar. If if gets loose, it will mess up the teeth, resulting in a ruined chain. Otherwise, I'm pleased with it.
