Put this in the business forum but this one seems more appropriate.......

Basically look for any and all info into purchasing contracts dealing with maintenance. Any advice or specifics, process, determining value and so on.

I'm sure you'll have questions for me but at least this will get it started to see if there is anything I'm not thinking of etc.

    Thanks!

    basically what i'm finding is:

*10% of the gross of contracts (not what the business grossed from selling other work)

*ensure they are contracts and you've got the work

*take a look at the properties

In the past we have given a couple cuts worth of cash for maintenance customers. It is nice to take on additional clusters of properties but, realistically, if you give it a little time you can fill in a nice route for free.

Currently I do landscape design and installation and venturing into maintenance.......I have nothing but an enclosed trailer to pull behind my truck and have to get mowers, another BR600, trimmers etc

Thought it might be best to just take on a fair # of customers to get started. That combined with customers that have expressed interest I am looking at a solid 50 accounts + an HOA
