i have the oppertunity to buy out my buddy. He does 20,000 a month in the summer and 10,000 in the winter snow or no snow. He is about the same size as myself. He is asking 20,000 which I think is fair. What do you all think?? He has contracts that are for 3 more years to a year and a half.

Sounds pretty fair, do you have the employees to handle the added jobs? or would they come along with the purchase?

You said your biz was about the same size?... if your accounts / revenues are significantly different, you probably would want to figure out why the difference.
