I am really thinking of moving over to all LED..I had a lot of service calls and had to go up and change out bulbs here and there..The price difference is pretty big though...I do feel the rental LED will be way better in the long run..I just don't want to scare away potential customers with the price..but I am really thinking about it these days before we head into the season

I do all LED. I think consumers are now used to paying more for energy efficient, longer lasting light bulbs, so the higher priced sell is not that hard. You can market the lights just that way: "We specialize in Safe, Energy Efficient, Long Lasting LED lights!"

It is worth it though to seek a vendor with a quality product. LED is normally not fixable like incandescent is and it is costly to replace.

It is very nice to not have to worry much about overloading circuits.

I agree wit clean cut completely. with factoring in the cost, plan on a 3 season life. It is my understanding that minleon (spelling??) is the best manufacturer when it comes to LED. I do know that is who HBL or Holidynamics is or was using.

I tend to bring all this to a bid- snowflake, blizzard, and icicle, and a strand of 3 c-9s, 1 strand of noble garland and a 4 foot noble wreath. when you don't bring the stuff with you, you wil not sell them. but I find folks look at the wreath, garland, and c-9's and want that, and a few folks will fall in love wih the links if you sell them up.

folks tend to have a number in their head, and maybe yo can push them some, but given the choice they tend to choose getting c-9's on front face and maybe add sides or mini's, garland around entry, and a wreath or two at peaks over just getting links on the front face.
