i was thinking of welding mounts for shocks on my trailer. anyone do this and do you think it would make handle better?

  2. Dunno about utility trailers, but shocks are an option on campers, or stock on high end campers.
So it gives some improvement in ride quality.

You know, I thought about that a while back also. I'm concerned with all the bouncing the equipment takes. Mine is a single axle leaf spring trailer. Let me know how it works out. Tony

i know monroe used to make a kit to add shocks to the trailer as a bolt on kit ,but they gave it up and stopped.they worked pretty, trick i sold a couple to a drag racer that was loosing thing's in the back of his enclosed trailer . camper trailer's would shake thing's right out of the cupboard's .if you look around the Internet somebody may have some left ,but take's some info on the trailer to order the right kit .:)
