When I run the cursor over MOST of the thread titles, it shows some of the post, which is nice because I can see whether it's something I want to bother to read or not.
But how come it doesn't work on some threads?

    Just curious. Thanks.

It seems to works with all threads here. What threads are you having trouble with, and what browser are you using? Thanks!

Is it possible to make it so it stays up longer when you put your cursor over it? Mine seems to only show up for about 10 seconds or so.

It doesn't work for me on the 'Comparing prices' and 'What does LCO mean?" thread as an example.

I am using Internet Explorer. It works okay for me on other LCO sites that have used this new version for awhile.

It was just sorta random (I don't remember which specific threads). It did work on most threads though.
    I use internet explorer.

It wasn't a big deal, I was just curious.

Unfortunately not - the time during which you see the description depends on how your browser handles the "title" attributes of <a> tags. If you need to read it longer, please move your mouse outside the link, and move it back to the link. The description should appear again for another 10 seconds.

Do you have the URLs to these threads? Is anybody else experiencing the same problem with them? Thanks!

I noticed the same thing earlier today. Sometimes it would pop up and other times it didn't. I just got on the site, so I will see if it's operating the same. Internet Explorer here as well.

Thanks for the information. According to what I just read, threads that were started *before* the upgrade have no preview, while threads from after the upgrade should all have one. In order to enable the preview for all threads, I'll have to rebuild the thread information, but that's a server-intensive process that takes some time so I prefer to do it tomorrow, outside of the site's busy hours.
