Does anyone know anybody who installs putting greens as a side business or what do you guys think. I have a lawnmowing business but i am looking for a niche. I was also thinking to install bocce courts and synthetic turf for underneath play sets. I am looking for opinions.

They are really pushing them right now. I've had several mailers on becoming an installer of these things and I throw them in the trash.

Its funny that you say that, i was just thinking about the same thing the other day. I wonder how large of a market you would be dealing with. If you could install putting greens then why not transition to sporting fields?

Are you talking about real putting greens or artificail turf? I'll tell you right now that real greens are tough - a whole nother level of skills, knowledge, and committement.
