    Well, many of you have mailed me about putting images in posts. Asked how to get those smiley faces in your posts too. It's very easy to do. In this image below, you can see how to add some simple effects to your posts. It's done using HTML, which is what most web pages are written in. HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. Basically, it's a language that browsers understand.

    <img src="http://www.snowplowing-contractors.com/ls.gif">

    Now you can add <B>bold</B> words to your posts very easily when you want to stress a word, or even a whole sentence, or whole post.

    As far as "links", all you have to do is type http://www.revetahw.com and when your post goes up, it will automatically be a hyperlink. In fact, I just typed that "whatever" and it will be a link. (to where I have no clue, it may actually be a website)It was to a website, so I am editing this, and spelling "whatever" backwards.

    For more info on how to get smiley faces in your posts, go here. Chuck Keogh explains it very clearly.

    Hope this helps!

    I told Eric he could post it in the other forums too. We had discussed a need for an explanation of some of the effects we can have in our posts. So I made this image. The reason it had to be an image, is because if I typed in, then it <B>would</B> be html, and not visible. Chuck already has the info about smilies here on lawnsite, so that was done already. I just pointed to it.
    You guys just got a look into how web pages are made.
    I want to try another effect here now.
    Let's see how <FONT SIZE=5">big</FONT> this font is, and if it works. If so, I can make another image explaining it.

    Ok, it worked!

    I'm looking for a good web host. Only part of it is built. I'll let you know when it's up.
