Just put an inground pool in and planning on sodding the area beyond the fence. Sq ft? Not sure. Anyway- the topsoil is not real find but almost like "gravel size" clumps. Went over it today with a tractor/tiller. Still looks like "dirt gravel" Will this be ok to put sod over?
    Thanks

You should be ok....water it heavily and roll it.

It would be well worth the effort and expense to till in 4 to 5 yards (per 1000 square feet) of a quality compost/soil mix.

Right, you have no topsoil, you should till in aged organic matter such as maure, compost, planting mix in large amounts and rake the area clean of debri and rocks.
