Qbooks 2001 chart of accounts

    Just noticed that no amounts where in the "income" & expense column of the chart of accounts. Any ideas as too why ? :confused: all of the reports have amounts in them.

    I've been using quickbooks for 6 years- none of the versions has ever shown balances under chart of accounts for income or expense accounts. If you double-click the account, it will bring up the register for that account.
    I usually just use the profit and loss report to view income and expenses.

    Your bank accounts will show a balance, but other income/expense accounts will not.
