Were starting a design where the client is requesting that a pond buts up to a slightly raised patio. I have seen installs like this but I'm confused on how to build it.
Does the liner goes in front of the block used to raise the patio? if so how do you hide the liner abover the water height so it looks like water goes right against the blocks? or does the liner go under your base row and back behind the blocks? Anyone have any experience in this? We dont have the job yet just in the design phase now but I'll need to know before I can bid / build. Thanks-

    Matt-

Why do they want a pond? Why not a water feature instead?

I dont know. Its a good size pond they want to sit on the patio and look down at koi fish. This was one of the main things they wanted with the design of the job was a pond going up against a patio. Patio will be raised about 4 blocks high with water going up about 3 blocks.
