Are both of these supposed to have a carburetor gasket where the carb fits onto the intake?

I'm having trouble getting the KM-130 to run. It does not have a carb gasket. It will run on choke, but as soon as you turn the choke off, it revs up and then dies. It will not run AT ALL. I put a new carb kit in it because I had one laying around that somebody gave me, but it didn't do anything.

The FS-100 has a new carb kit in it too, because the same person gave me that as well. I also have a brand new whole carb for it that I'll try. However, it will run wide open but will not idle. It also leaks gas everywhere. Should I just put the new carb on it?

I really just need the first question answered. If anyone wants to help with the rest, that'd be great! Thanks!
