    All,

I have a location that is very sensitive and I cannot dig down and pull out around 12 scrub palms that are growing out of a shrub line. This area was not cared for well for some time and some of these palms are quite large. We have been chainsawing them to the dirt, but they keep shooting back up. Round-up doesn't work and I am not agreable to using gasoline, does any one have any ideas?

You will find it cheaper to subcontract this job to a real Pesticide company as the cost of Buying Garlon 4 will be higher than what they should charge. It sounds like you have a type of clustering palm since it keeps coming back. BTW Application to kill these palms should be done by a very experienced tech, the type of herbicides used to kill palms can very easily kill the shrubs beside them.
