Question of pricing out rocks.......

    if you take large rocks, say 3, or 4 foot in diameter out of a job and have a place to store them to use in future design, how do you come up with a price on what they are worth.

    I guess you have to figure your time and equipment of removing them, and then delivering them to a new job.

    How much do you think people are going to value those rocks?

    Often i can sell a boulder wall build with a excavator for the same price as a srw wall. Why? Because people view it as a wall. They have no idea how much easier it is to builder a boulder wall with a machine vs a srw wall.

    60-80 bucks a ton for the stone and 80 bucks an hour to place. one hour min.

    1hour minimum = you lose........set yourself a daily minimum, $500 for example, profit, to show up.
