I Bought a used 36" Toro WB. It is amazing how far it will throw the grass, but I was wanting to mulch some of my accounts without breaking out the 52" Z.

Can I just put a plate over the discharge and use gator blades? Will this work Ok or should I shell out the money for the mulch kit?

There are only a few yards I would use it on, but it would be nice to mulch with it from time to time.

I could really use some good advice on this.

That is essentially what we do on all our units and it work just fine. We do the Scag wavy mulch bades they are a lot better than the straight mulch blades, less load.
