I like the new Stander X but I have a few questions if anyone can answer them. I am currently an owner of a 52 inch stander, which was purchased this time last year. What is the difference between the old stander and the stander X? Because the X is a mid mount machine how does that effect the floating deck? Does is float as well as a rear engine machine?

The new Stander X is very similar in its set up as the 52" fixed deck Stander the biggest difference being the need for a frame for the lift system for the deck. The deck springs help when lifting the deck and also help the deck respond to terrain changes. The engine being attached to the cutter deck helps limit the amount of deck bounce that can be associated with a hanging deck. If you have further questions feel free to contact us.
