this will be my first install of a pond. Question do I need to install a filter or can use more natural method? Does the waterfall need to run all day? any chemicals that need to be added to this throughtout the year? do you need to feed the fish daily if not when? Just want all my questions answered before I begin the project.

    thanks

Please describe in detail "natural method". Adequate bio-conversion is an absolute requirement if fish are to be present. No chems should ever be needed if pond is constructed correctly. Fish feeding frequency and amount depends on several factors.
The waterfall can be bypassed BUT the pump should run 24/7/365 and turn total pond volume at least once per hour. Bio-conversion should also be ongoing.
