quick sod question

    What are the dimensions of a piece of sod usually? Thanks

    here is 16" x 6'

    The size of the sod is relative to the machine that cuts it. There is no standard size and many manufacturers of commercial sod farm cutters. I get it 18" x 48", 6 square feet, from one local farm and 24" x 60", 10 square feet from another.

    the square off a pallot? usualy 12"x18"

    2'x5' here, unless you get the machine-ready rolls which are bigger.
