I've been using my Quick 44 for a couple of weeks now and the thing is a beast. Great cut, maneuvers quite well but...I'm running it with the mulch plug and the blowout from the front of the deck is horrible. I'm thinking about using a dusk mask when I mow! It has the standard blades that came with the unit, deck is set at 3". Is there anything I can do to reduce/eliminate all that dust?

Raise it to 3.5 and get some gator blades. Otherwise blow it out the side or bag it !

I had the same problem with my Quick 36....and I lowered the cutting height from 3" to 2.5" and it helped.....don't know why....but it did

Lower lift mulch blades, baffling on a bone fide mulch kit that is lower than the blade in the front will keep everything in.

I get blowout while mulching with my Quick 36 at 3" but doesn't really bother me.
You may want to think about blowing this thick spring grass out the side anyways....the Quick will stripe just as good side discharging as mulching.
