QuickBooks Chart of Accounts

    New QB user here. I am running QB Pro 2012 and want to set it up to be account friendly at years end. During the install the software determines what the best default set up will be. I am finding that some accounts in the chart of accounts should be added.

    I am asking that any one that that has successfully been through a tax season and had a happy account at the end to let me know how their accounts were set up and how expenses were divided.

    How have you set up your accounts in the past? Just apply that to QB. Don't try to reinvent the wheel.
