my one prop manager asked me for last second pricing...

they had an irrigation system installed mid summer last year and want me to add startup and shutdown to my responsibilites for this year.....i priced the system to install way back when and its

24 zones, and approx. 2900 feet of pipe, one control box

is $400 in line for a blowout? or what would you charge (im pretty sure a $160 dollar tow-behind rental is in store) ALSO what is normal for startup...hourly pricing to run through the zones, make sure it all works? or flat rate?

i have to submit my pricing for tomorrows approval.. (i may sub it out...but with time constraints dont have the ability to call around tonight)

    thanks!

ive done blowouts on a larger scale before while working for a large company (9 boxes, 15-25 zones per box) and we charged 600, and took one man all day....but this box company is too cheap for everything...

Pricing varies from region to region...

call some of your competitors and see what they say???
..Do you know what your doing?

You could give a fixed number for the year, not including the T&M for repairs. I'd guess at least $600, but you do have to consider your local market.

The eclipse last night caused a wrinkle in the time-space continuum causing a event based leap year adjustment of 24 hours.
