Hahahah good one Try running 3 users at once. Try printing 3000 contracts at the end of the year. Yes you drop some features but the no errors are so worth it. Not saying qx is the best by far. Arbor gold or Sa is way better but for people that are small like you then clip might work

    Clip has those features....
In my two month demo of qx i had errors on several simple things...
And didn't see the same flexibilility of scheduling.
Glad it works for you though.

You have a thriving business, for 3000 clients there are much better systems/software than clip, gopher and qx..these are generally focused on smaller companies.
At the gie show last year i talked to one of those companies and was very impressed with their software, just choked on the price.

Mostly errors are few and far between and usually are related to my not setting something up properly. They always jump on the issue and have a fix...
    Clip also incorporates user input....

I wonder if the printing of the 3000 contracts was a clip issue or a PC issue?

I have tried a mail merge into word with a list in excel and that chokes most desk tops when you have 1000 records.

The next question is why try to generate them out of Clip and not in Quickbooks or some other utility.

Real green is the way to go if you need multi user and the ability to handle a huge number of client records. We have over $10k in our system but its so worth it.

Thanks will look at it closer.

I heard they may be considering GPS integration. That would be sweet.

Were getting a couple mobile assistant units going into this spring that do the tracking but I dont think its real time. If it is, that would be even better. Would love to look at my dots moving on a screen.

What I heard is Darrell Leven at US Fleet tracking is talking to Joe Kucik at Real Green.

That means you could unlock doorks, kill the engine after hours and push routes to a Garmin that has traffic and routing. Two way SMS through the garmin.

Likely a 40 to 50 per truck add-on..... would be a sweet feature.
