Okay, another question. Can I put down Fertilizer after it rains while the grass is still wet, will it make the fertilizer stick to the grass and possibly burn it? Or do I need put it down before it rains so it will get watered in? Trying to keep from having to water it my self. If it has to be put on a dry lawn how long can it set before it has to have water?

This was very recently discussed (may not be over yet) here.

Right Foreplease. Rain is OK. Before or after fertilizer--no problem. Odd--my old time fertilizer bags say "Never apply fertilizer to wet grass".

But I think I have seen fungus infection in the cut tips of grass after being mowed when wet. White tips.

With lawns infested with weeds I'm finding blanket spraying to be very time consuming although effective. Are there granular weed and feeds that work as well and do they make a weed and feed that the grass doent have to be wet thanks Dave
