rain days.

    How do you guys handle rain days?

    Work on equipment, play madden, drink beer, work harder the next few days.

    can you cut in the rain? do any of you out there cut during little showers?

    Little showers = Keep on mowing

    Heavy rain = Bump it all up 1 day

    Do you have a catch up day? Or do you just bust you a$$?

    I cut when its misting or a quick shower. I try to sced everything M-Thur and make up Fri. I usually have a 3 day weekend.

    Saturday is the catch-up day but we would rather work harder and catch up during the week if we can.

    we mow tues-friday, if it rains hard we push we just pick up were we left off and mow until we cant mow anymore that day, usually end up mowing some on sat.

    go to the track, charge extra on the next mow

    I always have work to do in the rain. It's called proper planning. It also depends on the rain. If it is too heavy, then the equipment is worked on. Light rain is time for weeding, plantings, mulch, etc.
