Finally we are getting some large amounts of rain in Kansas City. The skies have been teasing us for a couple of weeks with dark clouds and lightning, but producing no rain. That was until last night at about 7:30. It's 9:15 on Friday and it's been raining for about 14 hours now. I don't kow how much we have gotten, but it's enough that today's lawns are pushed into tomorrow. This is the first time we've been pushed behind this year, and I'll put up with it for the amount of moisture we're getting. I'm gonna be a tired boy come PROM tomorrow night! payup

We came within 1" of breaking the record set in 1889 this year but for the next few days it will be about 86 degrees. Lucky us. I HATE heat. There's only so much you can take off before you get arrested.

Just Monday I posted on here about how its becoming a dust bowl here in N. Illinois. Well, since Wednesday we have turned it around and now the lawns are a soggy sponge. Guess thats what I get for complaining. lol

I have spent the entier morning fighting water in the basement with all the rainfall. I think we got 4-6 inches in the last couple of days. We are only 87 lawns behind though!!!! hahahah
