Rainbird 5000 rotor...doesnt rotate

    I have a Rainbird 5000 series rotor that doesn't rotate but pop up and sprays...is there anything I can check or does something need to be replaced?

    Have a ton of 5000 in service, problem zero. Lawn crew prolly wacked it.

    sounds like you need a gutswap hoss...

    simple...painless....go to your local supply house and parle with the hombres.

    plain and simple to the point buddy..


    he was asking what type of landscapers are there?
    college kids turning and burning?

    or guys who care about the lawn....

    About the only way these heads can be trashed is by mower/string-trim crews.

    Ahh, got ya. No lawn service. We cut the grass ourselves...its only about 1 month old.

    Replace the entire head, like a burned-out lightbulb.

    Gotta disagree mike. I love the 5004 rotor head, but they do fail from time to time.

    Swap it out, be done with it.

    You got crap in the nozzle or the SAM low drain check or the Marlex or, or :dizzy:
