We use a tractor with a loader and raise the mower straight up.

Well I have a portable lift system I use, but it might not be the kind you are talking about. My trailer is portable and it has a gate that when let down, enables me to drive up on one side of it exposing the underside of my mower to gain access to the blades. When I get done with the first two, I go to the other side of the gate and expose the other side to get the third balde changed. It works for me, and probably a million other LCO's out there.

car ramps. drive the mower up and then turn the ramps to the side for access. works great
