i knopw that gas prices are starting to come back down a little but, has anyone been raising there prices to help compensate for the gas increase??????
i few weeks back i spoke to a few fellow landscapers and they said that they had added a ser-charge of anywere from $2-$5 per month due to gas increases.

    have any of you guys?
by the way in in new jersey and average gas prices here are about $2.08

    1.75 +2%
    1.85 +2.25%
    1.95 +2.5% etc.

Mailed a letter last month and no one objected, in fact one raised his price $5 instead.

I put it right in my contract at the beginning of the season.
If gas prices exceed a certain price per gallon, their charge goes up xyz per cut.
You have to protect your self. Nobody else will.
By the way, I have not been forced to kick in the clause yet this season.
It came close but gas prices have receded some here in Michigan.

I have annual contracts with all my customers so I have to wait till the contracts are up for renewal.

Prices will be going up though.
