I raised my minimum price for cutting at the beginning of the year and I'm
actually contemplating raising my prices again because of operating costs
continuing to rise. The cost to dump has doubled and gas prices are ridiculous. Anyways, I have more work than I can handle. I work alone and prefer it that way and I'm constantly turning down work. With my profit margin decreasing it only makes since to raise my prices again.

Is it wrong to raise my prices twice in 1 year. (i didn't lose any customers when I raised my prices in the spring and got no complaints)
Has anyone else raised their prices this year?

There are alot of lowballers out there and I don't even try to compete with those companies. I just try to make sure my lawns stand out from the rest on the street.

You could probably get away with it.........just explain it in your letter to them like you just did. I'll be doing the same thing....I'm sending letters out this weekend. Gas @ $2.61 a gallon here, and dump fees of 38.90 a ton.............I've gotta do something.
