I am looking at a 7.5 x 18 Homesteader (Hercules) enclosed trailer. When I ask the salesman about how much weight the ramp could hold he said 1200 lbs., I really like this trailer but when I checked on the mower I am planning on getting the weight was 1300 lbs. not counting me. anyone had any problems with this? I suspect their weight rating maybe conservative.

i would tell your trailer dealer about this and see what he has to say. Maybe find out what the ramp is made of. You probably won't have all of that weight on there at one time. The front wheels will be entering the trailer as the back ones go on the ramp.
