Our church has a Ramsomes XM3654 walk behind that has ran excellant the last few years. I noticed though the last few times I mowed with it that it just isn't handling the hills like it use to. I don't think any belts are slipping though I couldn't actually see the drive belt on the tranny. When I take a big hill it just seems to peter out like I am in a high gear even though I am in low gear. Any insight is much appreciated!

what exactly do you mean? does the engine rpm fall drastically? does the rpms stay up but the machine slows down?

Yes the RPM's stay but the mower doesn't go or doesn't go very well.

Look up under and check the trans. belt, It's probably loose or worn out.

there you go. by elaborating on the exact problem then it's much easier for all to diagnose the problem. good luck on the belt issue
