I think we pulled in 2400 feet of 1 inch pipe and about 1100 feet of 1 1/4 inch pipe, rain sensor back flow preventer only one spray zone.....total price 7150.00 plus tax. Go ahead gimmie your input... OH buy the way I had fun too !

what kind of pipe puller do you use?

what brand saddle tee's do you use for heads

do you use any solvent weld pipe? or do you just pull poly

    case mini sneaker

dont use saddles just a sprinkler T with 2 funny pipe elbows and swing pipe

use all poly except at the bfp then use either pvc or copper

for me that would be 2 days.

we can do 40 rotors/day. completely installed, backfilled and tested. includes timer, valve boxes, raking and re-seeding/tamping property.

112 man hours to me means 4 labors and me for 10 hrs/day about 2 days.

the price seems good...please post pics of project...interested to see 'how you did it'.

    turf dude,

the big ones are ALWAYS fun!!! remember that.

when we did the river park, i was having a blast...the labor was like 'what do we do...'

big projects just mean bigger pipe and bigger fittings (also bigger f#*k ups, too if you are not careful).

    please, post pics.

    hbofox,

that would be from punch in to punch out. 1/2 hour drive time each way...i know, that kills me...but what can i do?

it seems like turfdude bid drive time into project...great price, no?

that was total payroll hours for the project, including drive time breaks, which that week it was 95 degrees and we were taking a 10 minute break every 55 minutes, company policy.....
