Hey guys, I'm asking for some advice so I can figure out the best way to handle this without spending a lot of money on legal fees. I have a customer that owes me $901 and she has already sent me a check that was returned due to insufficient funds costing me $12 and since promised to work out a payment plan of $150 every two weeks which was now over a month ago and I still have not received a payment from her. I did some research and found out the home is now listed for sale at $799,000. I just got off the phone with the listing agent and she informed me that my customer is not the owner of the home she is a tenant. So I assume that getting a lien placed on the property is not even an option. What are my options and which one do you think is the best option at this point?
