When do you determine that it is more beneficial to rebuild/repair vs replace a mower? I have a Toro Wheelhorse 724-z.

It is zero turn. It is performing well, but is starting to nickel dime me to death. Most of the problem is time to repair as it appears that for the most part, parts are available.

The mower has a Linmar engine that is practically brand new and newer hydralic pumps. I am not doing a whole lot of business as I am still part time but I am finding how spoiled I am when it is down.

    Just curious on your criteria..

    Thanks in advance...

If it is the old chain system replace it with a new Scag. I had three of the 724's back in 1990 what a PITA with the chains and sprockets.

General rule is if it costs more than 35% to repair - it's time for new.
