I have a client who would like their euoyonomous removed and replaced with grass. Any recommendations on how to best accomplish this? I was thinking of skimming the top growth down with my trimmer, then tilling the undergrowth. The client is opposed to any herbicides so that is not an option. Thanks for any input..

Um, pruners and a shovel?? How big are they. Usually the ones I see aren't that big.

dig them out, bring in a bobcat if you can get one in...

Otherwise chop them down and try tarping them in the hot sun for a week or so, that should kill em off, does a great job on sod!
