I can breathe a sigh of relief now because I seldom know a thing about lawn maintenance, hope to find some suggestions from here. My lawn is in a very shabby condition and its none other than me who is to be blamed for that. I had a pet dog and I made it to answer the call of nature in the lawn, the dog is no more but there are several areas of the lawn where patches has developed and grass wont grow there. Can anything be done to revive the present condition of the lawn?

What kind of grass is it? If its a spreading grass, just add water until it fills in. If the spots are large or many in one spot you may want to reseed or take out old turf and replace the sod.
