I have heard a lot of great comments here about the 8000. I currenty use the Echo 620 and have had no problems with it. What I'd really like to know is there that much difference between the two units as far as performance goes?

Since you have had no problems with the 620, stick with it. However, comparing the two of them, the 620 is a thunderstorm and the Redmax is a hurricane - IMO. :usflag:

This subject has been bashed to death. Yes the 8000 has more blowing power.

The 620 is more of a Light Duty Commercial Blower. The Echo 755H or T would be more comparable as far as output goes.

    It's kinda like comparing an F150, and a F350.

We sell a ton of the 755's and they have been problem free. Redmax is also good. Only complaints i've heard is the mufflers falling off and melting the housings. I know there is a fix for that though.
