Hi I have five EBZ 8500 back packs And all of them have oil that runs down the engine and funks everything up with dirt and stuff. When we open the air intake there is always a puddle of two stroke oil in there. I think it's dripping out there. Does anyone have this problem or no why it may be happening. Thanks.

When mixed fuel evaporates...the oil remains.

This is not normal in LARGE amounts. Redmax has a known warranty issue with overheating in the 7500/8500's. The fix is a no-charge short-block replacement and also a new #63 main jet for the 8500's only.

Not saying you definitely have an overheating issue, but its possible. Over the last 6 months I have done 20+ shortblock replacements under warranty and every blower that had the overheating issue also displayed the problem you described.

If they start running bad, take them back to the dealer for a warranty inspection.

Both my 7500 and my retro 8100 did that too I thought it was because I shut it off after running it hard for a time period and just hit the kill switch now I let it idle a little but to burn the fuel in the carb bowl

What oil do you run? Sounds like your strato ports are leaking which isn't a big deal. They don't use much gasket maker from the factory.
