I've noticed lately, when I cut the throttle back to idle from wide open, it takes a few seconds to back down fully. Until recently, when you cut the throttle, it went to idle immediately like it should. This is obviously not a huge deal but is it a bigger problem waiting to grow?

Mine always did that. I don't know why, but it never got any worse (until someone permantly borrowed it & my cable lock).

If your cable is not sticking then it might be the carb linkage needs lubricating.

We had the same problem. End up having to take one end of the cable off and spraying it down a lot. Make sure you hold the cable up in the air for a few min's when doing it. See if that helps ya out.
