Talked to the Redmax people today about their new blower that is coming out in Sept- Oct of this year. Calling it the EB 8000 and they said it is insane, at a recent conference they had it blew a small boulder down the street!!!

I think I will wait till Fall for a blower!!

I've heard from some dealers about this, while others say there is no new redmax coming out. I hope this is not just some landscape legend.

More power, more fuel. Makes sense. More power, less time. Makes sense too. All equals out, how much is your time worth?

Shindaiwa's new blower will be an 86cc 4-mix.

The Redmax 62cc EB7000-EB7001 is powered by a version of the G-62 aircraft engine. The next engine in the lineup is a GT-80, a two cylinder 8 HP unit. Could it be a blower is being designed around the GT-80?

Even the Redmax trimmers and handblowers have zenoah aircraft-type engines. The old 2300 trimmers, etc had the G-23 engine, and the bigger ones were the g-26, such as my BC2601 trimmer.
